Bust darts - what they are, how they work, and an overview of how to add darts to your next sweater.
This highly-visual presentation will teach knitters exactly how bust darts function, so that the math is super intuitive.
I suggest that knitters either
1) Find a pattern that already includes bust darts so they can work them the first time with guidance, or
2) Go for it and add them to a pattern that doesn't have them included.
I also suggest that to keep things light and fun, they can experiment with creating a dart swatch or even chopping open an old tee shirt to follow along with some of the steps I took.
