Watch Time: 19 minutes
What if most of those pesky yarn tails never even existed?
Thatâs the approach I take to nearly every project: plan ahead so there are fewer ends to weave in. In this Knit Happy Summit session, Iâll show you my go-to tricks to sidestep extra ends entirelyâmaking stripes, colorwork, and even big projects a lot less frustrating.
And for the few ends you canât dodge, Iâll walk you through fast, secure ways to weave them in so they stay put and disappear into your fabric.
Whether you knit, crochet, or dabble in both, youâll leave knowing how to finish your projects cleaner, faster, and with far less hassle.
Supplies Needed:
The Slipstream Blanket is the kind of project you'll look forward to picking up again and again â simple, soothing, and full of color. With its easy 4-stitch repeat and neat seed stitch border, it's perfect for winding down in the evening while watching your favorite show.
Written in 10 sizes from baby to king, this pattern is endlessly versatile â whether you're knitting a cozy stroller blanket for a new arrival or a bold, snuggly throw to brighten your home. The stripes are designed for three colors, but the effect is striking no matter how many you choose.

Hortense Maskens
Knitting with Chopsticks ⢠Designer & CEO
Hi, I'm Hortense. My mom taught me to knit, one summer when I was 10 and bored on the beach. From there my love (some would say obsession) of yarn was born and I never stopped stitching.
A few years ago I started to dig into the online world of yarn and discovered so many techniques, constructions and concepts I had never heard about before. That's when a pattern tricked me into teaching myself to crochet and I got hooked.
Slowly I started to move away from following patterns until 2018 when I finally launched my blog Knitting with Chopsticks where I share my easy knitting & crochet patterns.
My goal is to break down knitting and crochet so they become simple enough for you to create exactly what you want, the way you want it through my patterns, blog, ebooks, courses, the Stitching Squad and summits like this one.
